Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Architect specializing in residential redevelopment projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, proven experience in an architecture firm, and exceptional proficiency in Revit software. This role involves leading and managing residential redevelopment projects from inception to completion, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring designs meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead the design and development of residential redevelopment projects. Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones. Design and Development: Utilize Revit software to create conceptual designs, 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings. Develop design proposals that align with client requirements, site constraints, and regulatory guidelines. Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants to address project objectives and challenges. Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and design reviews. Coordinate with internal teams to integrate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Team Management and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, interns, and drafters. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. Ensure designs comply with local codes, accessibility requirements, and sustainability guidelines. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for project implementation. Quality Assurance: Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle. Address design discrepancies, construction issues, and client concerns in a timely manner. Uphold high standards of design excellence, functionality, and durability. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Professional licensure as an Architect preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an architecture firm, focusing on residential redevelopment projects. Proficiency in Revit software is essential; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous. Strong design portfolio showcasing innovative residential redevelopment designs and technical proficiency. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and budgets. Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
