Job Title: English Teacher IGCSE / Cambridge High School: Grade 9 to 12 Middle School: Grades 5 to 8 Primary School - Grades 1 to 4 Location: Mysuru, Karnataka Role Overview: We are seeking passionate, dedicated and experienced Subject Matter Experts with a minimum of 2 years of high school teaching experience in a Cambridge International curriculum to join our team as a subject teacher, especially for high school. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in the development and implementation of our educational programs, ensuring alignment with the rigorous standards of the IGCSE, AS and A level curriculum. As a subject teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and nurturing the intellectual and personal development of our students. What you will do:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum for the assigned subject area. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement, critical thinking, and collaborative learning. Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and other relevant data as required by the school administration. Ensure Board Exam preparedness for exam taking batches. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support the holistic development of students and contribute to a positive school culture. Participate in professional development activities to enhance subject knowledge, pedagogical skills, and teaching methodologies. Adhere to school policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to student conduct, safety, and welfare. Take on class teacher responsibilities in addition to teaching a subject What we are looking for:- Bachelor's or Post graduate degree in the relevant subject area. Experience of at least 1-2 years managing exam taking batches within the Cambridge curriculum for high school positions. Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a Master's Degree in Education (M.Ed) is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and a commitment to student-centered learning. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
