Location: Surat, Gujarat, India Industry- Overseas Education Must have Proven experience as an Education Counselor specializing in Canadian and US Responsibilities - Student Counseling:
- Provide expert guidance and counseling to students interested in pursuing education in Canada and the United States.
- Assess students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and interests to recommend suitable educational pathways.
- Admissions Assistance:
- Assist students in navigating the admissions process for Canadian and US educational institutions.
- Stay updated on admission requirements, application procedures, and deadlines.
- In-depth Knowledge:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Canadian and US education systems, including universities, colleges, and vocational institutions.
- Stay informed about changes in immigration policies and work permits for international students.
- Application Support:
- Aid students in preparing and submitting application materials, including resumes, essays, and letters of recommendation.
- Facilitate communication between students and educational institutions.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, admissions offices, and relevant stakeholders.
- Attend education fairs, seminars, and networking events to enhance institutional partnerships.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all student documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with Canadian and US regulations.
- Assist students in obtaining necessary visas and permits.
- Follow-up and Support:
- Provide ongoing support to students throughout the entire pre-departure and post-arrival process.
- Address any concerns or issues that may arise during the application and enrollment phases.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Education Counselor specializing in Canadian and US education (2-4 years).
- In-depth knowledge of the Canadian and US education systems and admission processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and guide them through decision-making processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with immigration policies related to international students.
