Job description
Eligibility: 3+ years of work-ex in Technical SEO is a must.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in WordPress: Strong understanding of core functionalities, theme/plugin development, and customisation. Front-End Technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building and optimizing website structure and user experience. PHP: Ability to modify core functionalities, integrate with APIs, and create custom plugins if needed. Website Optimisation: Experience in optimising website speed using caching, code optimisation, and image compression techniques. Understanding of responsive design principles to ensure proper display across devices. SEO Implementation: Solid grasp of SEO principles and best practices: On-page optimisation (title tags, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text). Internal linking structure for improved navigation and authority. Sitemap creation and submission for search engine crawlers. Ability to integrate and configure SEO plugins effectively. SEO tools: Familiar with GSC for monitoring website performance, identifying technical issues and analysing search traffic. Tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs for keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink monitoring (may be beneficial). Project management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines effectively. Other Skills Problem-solving and critical thinking skills: Ability to diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot website problems, and propose effective solutions. Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication with designers, SEO specialists, and content creators to ensure alignment with project goals. Adaptability and continuous learning: Staying up-to-date with the evolving WordPress ecosystem and SEO trends, readily adapting to algorithm changes and best practices.
