Model Institute of Engineering and Technology, established in 1996, is the first engineering college in the private sector in Jammu approved by AICTE. It is a flagship institution of the Model Institute of Education and Research (MIER) Group, which has a legacy of over 86 years in J&K. MIER Group operates the first private school in J&K, the Model Academy, and the MIER College of Education, which is the only college of education in J&K to be accorded with the 'Autonomous Status' and 'College with Potential for Excellence' by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Professor role, located in Jammu. The Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research, and supervising student projects. The selected candidate will also be responsible for mentoring students, participating in academic meetings, and contributing to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Expertise in the relevant field of Computer Science & Engineering
• Experience in teaching and research
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• PhD in CSE from a recognized institution
• Publications in relevant journals and conferences
• Experience in developing and delivering curriculum to undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Experience in an academic institution with a strong commitment to academic excellence
