Job description
Develop high-quality database solutions
Develop, implement and optimize Stored Procedures and functions using T-SQL
Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and develop procedures and scripts for data migration
Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements; Ability to write and optimize in-application SQL statements
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and SQL Server Integration Services
Requirements
PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Relational Database concepts, SSIS, T-SQL Programming
Familiarity with MySQL is an added advantage
Create SQL Jobs for application requirements
Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Provide timely scheduled management reporting; Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements
