Location : India (Remote)

Type: Full time

Job Responsibilities:

The role requires supporting CUSTOMER's sales team with day-to-day sales coordination efforts. This

includes:

1. Updating the Customer Relationships Management (CRM) – Managing databases on a day

to day basis and performing hand-off tasks between the sales and project management

departments

2. Drafting quotations/proposals – Supporting the sales team in drafting new proposals and

editing existing proposals

3. Preparing marketing collateral by conducting market research, newsletter drafting and

report writing as needed

4. Drafting sales presentations and assisting with the design of white papers, slides and other

marketing collateral

5. Updating sales opportunities in advance of weekly and monthly meetings and preparing

sales figures and projections accordingly

6. Outreach to prospective customers – Emailing customers, following up on sales execution

7. Tracking post-sales activities as projects reach the execution stage

8. Scheduling client meetings (in-person and virtual) for the sales team

9. Assisting the sales and marketing team as clients, opportunities and projects transition

through the sales funnel

10. Other tasks as deemed applicable

· Ideal Candidate: 

o 2 to 3 years of experience of sales operation experience in the solar industry

o A technical background (engineering/science)

o Previous solar industry experience

o Superior oral and written communication skills in English 

o Must possess strong MS Office skills (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 

o Strong attention to detail with organization skills and the ability to work on multiple projects 

o Diligent team player with professional maturity to work with an international team and a diverse set of 

team members

o Flexible working hours, however, the candidate must be available for international 

calls/communications that will occur most evenings (Monday to Friday) 

o This role does not involve any travel 

o Adequate training shall be provided on the sales database, proposal templates, etc. although 

previous CRM experience is preferred (ideally with HubSpot) 

o High weightage will be given to a candidate with previous sales operations experience and 

demonstrable written and oral communication skills
