Role Overview

EXL is seeking a Senior Campaign Manager who will strategize, lead, manage and deliver programmatic omni-channel marketing campaigns managing EXL's Demand Generation program for the Insurance business unit (BU). This individual will be responsible for managing GTM strategies, solution/product launches, will bring programs to market, and deliver priority account-based marketing (ABM) programs and campaigns with a focus on the Insurance vertical.

In this role you will oversee the demand generation strategies, evaluate the latest enterprise marketing strategies, growth technologies, experimenting with and optimizing different tactics, and striving to consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline and revenue goals. You will own buyer engagement across all marketing channels, including ABM, email, digital programs, and events supporting the Insurance BU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with Portfolio and Industry Marketing teams to plan and create Campaign Briefs and gather supporting materials for submission and approval.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate marketing strategies and results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverages Campaign Briefs to create drafts of assets, coordinates the orchestration and activation of assets, and liaisons with cross-functional teams such as solution heads, analyst, and different marketing teams to ensure alignment, accuracy, and approvals.
  • Responsible for end-to-end management of omni-channel campaigns that include tradeshows, webinars, and virtual events.
  • Specialization in GTM strategies for specified products, solutions, and/or industries.
  • Budget, results, and forecasting ownership of campaign(s) once Campaign Brief is approved.
  • Responsible for a proactive cross-functional feedback loop on campaign learnings to influence future strategies and create valuable actionable recommendations.
  • Owns management and optimization of 'always on' evergreen marketing campaigns and ensures ongoing alignment with Portfolio and Industry Marketing teams.
  • Capable of independently managing one-time projects, ad hoc BU request, or ABM support with minimal guidance and direction.
  • Engage with external agencies effectively to promote employer, leadership branding and visibility amongst prospects, customers and employees.
  • Oversee and support the creation of marketing collateral like case studies, datasheets, whitepapers, FAQs, blog posts, ROI tools, sales presentation decks, etc.
  • Leader that ensures team and department's demand generation goals are met and mentors associates on GTM best practices to drive greater pipeline growth and business outcomes.
  • Gathers insights on buyers, market trends, and competitive landscape to guide GTM strategies. Stays informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in demand generation marketing.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree, in business-related discipline

Experience

  • Previous experience working with the US Insurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • 8+ years of lead generation campaign management, leading end-to-end initiatives across diverse and complex organizations.
  • Deep understanding of sales pipeline, key drivers, and the role that marketing plays at each stage of the buyer and customer journey.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles including B2B marketing, solution marketing, the buyer journey methodology, buyer/customer personas, and content marketing strategies.
  • Experience in marketing analytics-based solutions is required.
  • Should be able to independently lead content development, specific to marketing brochures, infographics, social content, PPT development.
  • Good understanding of Marketing Automation Tools, Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Eloqua etc.
  • Understanding of SEO to provide insights from this channel, improve performance and outcomes.
  • Should have experience of working with different stakeholders across the entire campaign lifecycle. This involves internal stakeholders, and external agencies.
  • Good understanding of campaign performance metrics and success parameters
  • Strong knowledge of the analytics discipline, and key trends, topics and issues specific to market, including the data management and digital innovations (AI, ML, NLP, RPA)
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including pragmatic marketing, B2B marketing, solution marketing, the buyer journey methodology, buyer/customer personas, and content marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of public analyst, or influencer relations experience desired, or experience working with other types of influencer groups preferred.
  • Understanding of Marketing Lead flow, Campaigns, Marketing, Account Based and Deal Based Marketing
