Role :
- This is an Application Support Engineer role providing Level 2 application support services to the company's Customers.
- This person is a hands-on person who has Application support or development experience.
- The primary role is to fix technical issues in the company platform through troubleshooting, debugging, configuration changes, hot-fixes, tools development for advanced troubleshooting & debugging.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on 24x7 Level 2 Technical Support to the company Customers Perform advanced technical troubleshooting, hot fixes, tool development (for debugging & analysis purposes)
- Flexible to work in customer support environments usually involving extended support hours, working in 24x shifts, and weekend / public holiday support Collaborate with cross functional teams as Engineering, Product and Customer Support (L1) teams for timely resolution of customer issues Contribution to operational initiatives of the organization and department such as Custody Operations or Security Operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Application Support Experience in a production support environment Hands-on experience developing applications in TypeScript, NodeJs, Angular, MySQL, AWS (EC2, ECS), Linux or Mac Development environments/tools Experience in troubleshooting production issues, performing Root Cause Analysis, providing solutions or hot-fixes Hands-on experience in Scripting Languages like: Shell Script, NodeJS based programs to debug and troubleshoot issues Hands-on experience working on SOAP/REST APIs, Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins, Cloud, Dockers Understanding of ITIL processes like Incident, Problem & Change Management Experience in an AGILE/SCRUM development environment, is a plus Understanding or experience of Blockchain based wallet infrastructure or Web3 applications, is an added advantage
- Good communication and documentation skills
