Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Odoo Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing Odoo applications to meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Odoo framework and ecosystem, as well as proficiency in core Python and web development languages. Additionally, you should be familiar with software development life cycles, particularly in Agile environments, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and customize Odoo applications to meet client requirements.

Utilize your expertise in core Python and object-oriented programming concepts to build robust solutions.

Work with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery to create seamless user experiences.

Collaborate with team members to implement solutions within the Odoo framework and ecosystem.

Demonstrate proficiency in Linux systems and Python development frameworks.

Follow software development life cycles in Agile environments, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Utilize your knowledge of OWL (Odoo Web Language) to enhance application functionality.

Utilize PostgreSQL for database management and optimization.

Employ XML scripting when necessary to customize and extend Odoo applications.

Familiarize yourself with Git and repository management tools such as GitLab and GitHub for version control.

Implement system integrations using Odoo API and third-party API integration where necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience working with Odoo frameworks and ecosystem (90% working proficiency).

Strong understanding of core Python and object-oriented programming concepts.

Proficiency in web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.

Knowledge of Linux systems and Python development frameworks.

Familiarity with software development life cycles, particularly in Agile environments.

Experience with OWL (Odoo Web Language) is preferred.

Fair understanding of PostgreSQL and ability to write optimized queries.

Familiarity with XML scripting is advantageous.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Familiarity with Git and repository management tools.

Knowledge of Odoo API and system integrations is a plus.
