Responsibilities:
Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs in physiotherapy techniques, with a focus on manual therapy and specialised areas such as fascial manipulation, myofascial techniques, structural integration, osteopathy, taping, aquatic therapy, scoliosis, and pelvic rehabilitation.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions for physiotherapy students and professionals.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy and incorporate relevant information into training programs.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of physiotherapy professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages continuous learning and professional development.
- Coordinate team activities, ensuring the effective implementation of training programs and achieving performance goals.
Clinical Expertise:
- Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in manual therapy and other specialised areas, serving as a resource for team members.
- Provide consultation and guidance on complex cases, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and evidence-based practices in physiotherapy.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality training programs and clinical services.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's in Physiotherapy (MPT) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching physiotherapy students and professionals.
- Specialised training in manual therapy, with expertise in fascial manipulation, myofascial techniques, structural integration, osteopathy, taping, aquatic therapy, scoliosis, and pelvic rehabilitation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.
