Role & responsibilities
: Lead bancassurance team in the territory; implement strategies to increase the scope & scale of business by identifying business opportunities, designing deals/ product mix in CPC and RBOs to ultimately achieve and increase desired GWP and profitability Preferred candidate profile : General Insurance with Team Handling experience of more than 7 years. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor past performance and conduct analysis to assess revenue potential and business opportunities in given geographies - Explore potential business avenues to penetrate new areas and expand in physical and corporate market to make higher returns - Identify Opportunities to enhance new product sales to achieve budgeted GWP. - Drive performance & budget achievement of entire territory to achieve Banca channels top and bottom line while maintaining defined LR and COR - Identify and implement ways to drive the renewal business and ensure retention ratio - Define actions plans with bank controllers and drive campaigns to achieve focused products target - Ensure business activation at for SBI & RRB branches to achieve minimum business commitment - Conduct monthly and quarterly review with teams and key relationship managers to monitor achievement of individual targets, discuss business issues and design action plans to course correct, if required - Conduct periodic reviews with partner banks to drive business numbers and address any concerns which may be hampering business - Interact with products team and provide them feedback on partner banks business requirements for development of products - Identify Potential SPs to ensure presence in all branches - Conduct the product training & product placement for SBI Bank Branch & SPs to ensure product awareness - Organize the campaign for all level at Bank to support growth in business targets - Develop and maintain relationship with all the key stakeholders at the Banca partners to achieve increase volume growth - Define team goals, allocate responsibilities and conduct performance appraisals against set targets for team members - Identify areas of strength and development for senior team members, coach and mentor on an ongoing basis for capability building and recommend career movements for growth - Develop succession plans for managing talent pipeline for critical roles in the function - Ensure that regulatory and Statutory aspects of business are adhered to at Branch wise level - Assess and consider all kinds of risk to make informed decisionsJob tags
