business in India.
At Sensing and Safety Technologies (SST), we have 75 years of
experience in sensor and gas detection technology innovation. We are a business that drives better health
outcomes, that enables more agile supply chains, advances in
aerospace, transportation, and industrial manufacturing, protects
workers and workplaces and promotes sustainability through
specialized sensing, gas and safety solutions. We co-develop solutions for specific customer needs and partner with
equipment manufacturers to create tailored solutions utilizing our global,
vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities. Finally, we offer services to support our
customers post-sale.

Safety, Industrial Manufacturing & Transportation, Electrification (BTI) and

solutions in areas such as electrification to name a few.
As the GM, the candidate will lead the India SST business
and provide and execute the strategic commercial growth direction. Candidate
will also provide guidance and direction in developing robust opportunity
pipeline, creation of new partnerships where applicable, and customer
relationships for current markets and expanding to adjacent markets for both
sensing and gas detection applications. Candidate will be responsible for high
level decision-making based on a realistic assessment of all potential changes
and their impact and will have a strong role to play with LOB Leaders defining
an appropriate innovation led portfolio to win in India markets. Candidate will
have a passion for winning and be able to develop and implement strategies for
growth.
Key Leadership & Biz leader competencies

and retention. Understands nuances of business in HGR to drive customer
adoption and growth. Understand customer/market needs to improve cust exp, i.e.
usability and user experience for solutions Understand customer needs, industry
trends, macro-economic trends affecting the regions and build executive level
relationships with regional customers. Lead appropriate market segmentation
across the SST business to facilitate growth.

that add business value to each of the GBEs, will work with leaders in region
and globally to extend IA presence for local competition, East for East, East
for Rest, and Value-Added Product & Process. Develops the right internal
mechanisms to drive accountability and improvements across all key financial
and business metrics. Knows what levers to use and how hard to pull to improve
results, drives both revenue growth and cost productivity simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan for the business
Lead and manage Sales, Marketing and other Supporting functions including strategic partnership with key stakeholders (Customers, providers, government officials, KOL, regulators etc) to deliver accelerated growth for the business
Focus on Electrification BTI, specifically for 2W and 3W EV market. This will include engaging with Government Bodies in India to drive Battery Safety standards while working with OEM’s to embed the standards in their products
Drive localization initiatives working together with global stake holders to bring products that are fit for the India market
Work with SST CMO to implement a professional Channel network, programs and infrastructure.
Act as the SPS business SPOC; enable Key Account development and Government relations for the SBG.
