Your Role Job Description For Project Engineer - Master Scheduler Job description / Mission: In order to further strengthen our projects team and to work proactively on streamlining start to end activity of our projects. We are looking for a highly motivated & skilled Master scheduler engineer to fulfil the ambitious targets of Gas and Process Application team.
Job Responsibilities: - Develop and manage an integrated master schedule for all projects or operations, considering dependencies, constraints, and resource availability.
- Collaborate with project managers, sourcing, production, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and milestones.
- Identify and assess risks, issues, and conflicts that may impact the schedule, and develop mitigation plans.
- Regularly update and maintain the master schedule by incorporating changes, updates, and adjustments as necessary.
- Monitor project progress and identify any deviations from the schedule, taking proactive measures to address delays or other issues.
- To organize regular meetings of all each project stakeholders, represent the schedule and highlight risks.
- Conduct regular meetings and discussions with project teams to review and analyze project status, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions.
- Provide accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate project status, key metrics, and performance indicators to management and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor project and other team members on best practices for schedule management and adherence.
- Collaborate with procurement and resource management teams to ensure alignment between the schedule and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- To be conversant and work in conjunction with all ISO Standards and Atlas Copco SHE guidelines.
To succeed, you will need Experience Requirements - Min 5 years' experience required as a project engineer / manager or as a Master Scheduler, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Experience of scheduling / planning in customize product manufacturing industry will be added advantage.
Knowledge: - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Hindi.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera and SAP, to develop and manage schedules.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a requirement.
- In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), is desirable.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Personality requirements: - Team player and able to establish good relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in maintaining and updating schedules.
- Dynamic and proactive behavior.
