Job description
We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer (Azure Administrator) to join our team. The Junior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting the architecture and infrastructure of a small-scale Azure environment, ensuring the uptime, performance, security, and scalability of the environment. The candidate will also work with the Senior DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps tools.

Role :
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, deploying, and managing the architecture and infrastructure of a small-scale Azure environment
- Help to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps tools to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality code
- Monitor the environment and respond to alerts to ensure maximum uptime and performance
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Work with the Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure the security and compliance of the Azure environment, including managing access controls, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and maintaining disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide guidance on best practices for deployment and scaling of applications in the Azure environment
- Develop and maintain documentation related to the Azure environment and DevOps processes
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Azure architecture and infrastructure, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and Azure Active Directory
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and related tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, DataDog, Zabbix, Grafana, and Prometheus
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in the Azure environment
- Experience with Windows and Linux server administration is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in managing Azure environments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Desire to learn and stay current with emerging technologies and trends in DevOps and cloud computing
Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Fundamentals are a plus
