Job description
Overview:
The Senior CNC Programmer plays a crucial role in our organization as they are responsible for programming and ensuring the efficient operation of CNC machines ultimately contributing to the precision and quality of our products. They collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to meet production targets and uphold quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and set up CNC machines based on engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Optimize machining processes to enhance productivity and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers to determine the most efficient manufacturing approaches.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure smooth operations.
- Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Train and mentor junior CNC programmers and machine operators.
- Develop and maintain CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
- Implement safety protocols and best practices in machining operations.
- Collaborate with tooling and maintenance personnel to ensure optimal tool performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and product quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: any graduate/ ITI/ diploma/ BE mechanical
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining operations.
- Indepth knowledge of CNC programming languages and Gcode programming.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks or Mastercam.
- Strong understanding of precision machining processes and principles.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in brass industry
- Must have good knowledge of production and CNC & VMC programming
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of optimizing machining processes for improved efficiency and quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within crossfunctional teams.
- Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in machining and manufacturing.
