Job description
On-Call Responsibility : - You will be point of contact for alerts and incidents and responsible for overall system reliability and availability- Help maintain mission critical services.- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.- Demonstrate a strong operational understanding of service behavior and trade-offs in production with regards to scale, reliability, security, availability etc- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.- Participate in Architecture designs and tool selection- Instrumenting the applications and setting up monitoring dashboards for various system components- Engage in and improve the lifecycle of services- from inception and design, through to deployment, operation and refinement.Qualifications :- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP- Production experience with Kubernetes.- Experience working with ChatOps- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks- Good understanding of tools like DataDog, SumoLogic, OpsGenie (ref:hirist.tech)
