Role Description

This is a full-time academic counselor role located on-site in Bengaluru. The role involves providing academic and psychological support to students, helping them with course selection, college applications, and career planning. The counselor will also help students develop study skills and learning strategies, and recommend resources that can help students succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field
• Experience in counseling students in a school or college setting.
• Understanding of learning theories, counseling techniques, and career development theories
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
• Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with college admissions processes and career counseling resources
• Professional certification in counseling (e.g., National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor) is preferred
