Job description

Position Summary :- Effectively manage and solve production incidents- Work in a 1st / 2nd / 3rd line IT Support role - Pro-actively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support- Monitor applications and infrastructure in an effective way, compliant with the established SLA for the business lines- Investigations and technical diagnostics of incidents and follow the action plan implementations.- Incident management - identify recurrent issues and coordinate with team in charge (development teams, infras teams etc.) to solve it permanently.- Write the documentation for the application component and it's functioning: functional and technical architecture, DRP procedure, incident procedure, etc..- Provide production support with dedicated KPI's to end-users for all application issues and respond to queries in a timely manner- Investigating and debugging logs and source code to find bugs and issues - Effectively manage and solve production incidents- Work in a 1st / 2nd / 3rd line IT Support role- Pro-actively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support- Monitor applications and infrastructure in an effective way, compliant with the established SLA for the business lines- Contribute consistently to the continuous automation and improvement of the applications- Enhance user's satisfaction by solving incidents/problems effectively and efficiently- Ensure the proper troubleshooting and incidents follow up- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentationsLocal reporting line : head of HK IT GM Business Support & Monitoring.Functional reporting line : Head of IT CFIT- Application Support - RisksMain responsibilities and duties of the role :- Manage - daily - production issues and requests from application's users. - Follow Dailly Batch Chain and Ensure Data is integrated, and Production is ready. - Communicate with users and report to management all production issues faced.- Develop and maintain tools to enhance end-user service level and facilitate support tasks.- Ensure smooth APAC to Paris handovers.Technical skill requirements :- Academic background in either Computer Science (or similar IT degree), Economics or Finance- Proven experience in PL/SQL and SQL programming languages.- Good knowledge of production tools (scheduler Control-m) - Good knowledge of Big Data (Hadoop platform)- Understanding in object-oriented languages- Good Knowledge of Jira and Confluence as a User- Experience with VBA; SQL Workbench; GitLab, BitBucket; CFT; Jenkins; Kakfa; Unix, Business Intelligence (Nice to Have)Job Qualification (education, years of experience and other soft skills) :- 10+ years' experience Application Support role- Excellent application support skills- Good knowledge of bank IT environment- Stress resilient- Good communication skills- Team player- Excellent professionalism, availability, autonomy and rigor- Excellent proactivity on incident remediation and continuous improvement / automation (ref:hirist.tech)
