Salesforce Commerce cloud B2B Architect and Senior Architect
Location - PAN India

As a Salesforce B2B Commerce Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions for B2B Commerce projects leveraging the Salesforce platform and extended ecosystem. Your expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, combined with your strong technical acumen, will be instrumental in delivering scalable and efficient solutions to meet our clients' business needs.
Key Responsibilities - list what the person will be doing on a day to day basis:
Candidate will be part of the project team and would be responsible for/attending:
- Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand and analyze business processes, design comprehensive solutions using Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, while ensuring scalability, security, and simplicity. Develop and present technical architecture documents and solution proposals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Review and assess low level design, configuration, security, code quality, ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, PIM, Payment) to facilitate seamless data flow and process automation.
- Customize and extend the functionality of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows and other appropriate technologies.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize page load times, and improve overall system efficiency.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the Salesforce B2B Commerce implementation by implementing proper data access controls, encryption, and adhering to industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce B2B Commerce features, releases, and industry trends. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance overall project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, integration specifications, and deployment plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Project Managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work with client to translate business request to technical plan.
- Work closely with Commerce COE to assist on new initiatives and RFPs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect in Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud projects, with a deep understanding of B2B commerce concepts, capabilities, best practices, and limitations.
Essential Skills
- Ideally, hands on development experience in Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud implementations (B2B Lightining )
- Good knowledge of the architecture of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud applications(B2B Lightining )
- Good knowledge on Salesforce B2B Commerce admin
- Experience in integrating 3rd party systems using SOAP/ REST Web Services
- Strong ability to built custom UI Web components (using LWC/Aura) and backend components using Apex coding
- Strong JavaScript knowledge with focus on the back-end stack and understanding of usage in the front-end architecture
- Experience in custom development on force.com platform using Apex, Lightning, LWC/Aura, Visualforce, Javascript,etc. and using salesforce platform features
- Good experience on customization on B2B lightning framework
- Good knowledge of Github, deployment and version control
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adjusting to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Fluency in English
- Prefer to have experience on Salesforce Order Management tool
- Prefer to have knowledge on Lightning design system.
Certifications
Salesforce B2B Commerce Admin / Developer Accredited Professional, and relevant architect domain certifications (Data, Integration, Security)
