About Position
As a Senior Software Developer you will work with developers to understand what cookies are being deployed on those properties and coordinating with info sec. on how they are bucketed and organized. Job Location: Location- All PSL Locations Reference ID - PSI208218_1-1-1 What you will do Will work with developers to understand what cookies are being deployed on those properties and coordinating with info sec. on how they are bucketed and organized. Should have an intimate knowledge of GTM and how to configure settings to enable/disable cookie firing based on user selections. They will need to act as both a consultant and a doer/problem solver for teams that either don’t know GTM or that use other mechanisms to fire cookies on their sites. This will be an ongoing activity – not set it and forget it. End to end testing of implementations. Rigorously test the triggers to ensure accuracy and reliability in capturing the desired user interactions and events. On-going validation testing and compliance checks Debug and resolve tracking issues via console and inspecting the source code Expertise You’ll Bring Understands the fundamentals of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads platforms. Design, develop and support the web analytics architecture (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager environment & processes) Expert level of proficiency in GTM tagging and data layer implementations Develop and implement custom JavaScript to create events and triggers in Google Tag Manager as needed. Develops new solutions for complex tracking and tagging requirements. Orchestrates and follows a QA process to ensure data privacy and compliance standards are in place for all tags, pixels and cookie tracking tech across our sites. Can effectively and consistently validate data in Google Analytics for accuracy and other business needs.
