Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Happi Mobiles Pvt Ltd. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, such as Tally ERP
- Knowledge of GST regulations and tax filing procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with budget preparation and financial analysis
- Process and file tax returns, including GST
- Support year-end closing activities and audit processes
- Maintain and update accounting databases and systems
