Job description
location : HYDERABAD Job Description: As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our innovative products/services and our valued clients. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations to both prospective and existing clients, ensuring they fully understand the value proposition of our offerings. You will collaborate closely with our product/service development teams, providing them with valuable insights into customer needs and preferences, thereby enabling them to continuously enhance our offerings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our products/services. Liaise with product/service development teams to gain a deep understanding of our offerings and to communicate customer feedback effectively. Assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding targets by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. Conduct thorough research into the industry landscape, including competitor analysis, to identify market trends and opportunities. Actively promote additional products, upgrades, or services to clients, based on their specific needs and preferences. Explore potential new markets or clients based on comprehensive knowledge of our products/services and user demographics. Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and challenges. Technical proficiency in system and network administration (Cisco), server and storage technologies (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.), and virtual environments. Familiarity with various application stacks such as Oracle, RDB, etc., is an advantage. Experience in technical project management is highly desirable. Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, to achieve common goals. Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and support sales activities. Good to Have: Experience in system and network administration, particularly with Cisco technologies. Familiarity with server and storage technologies from vendors like Dell, HP, and Lenovo. Proficiency in managing virtual environments. Knowledge of various application stacks such as Oracle, RDB, etc. Entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative team player.
Qualifications: Min Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; Min experience of 8-10 years in IT sales and consulting with an MBA from Tier 1 Institutions. Proven track record of successfully managing enterprise-level client relationships and driving business growth. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. In-depth knowledge of the ITES industry and market trends. Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
