Job Overview We're in search of a seasoned Architect to join our innovative team. In this role, you'll take the lead in designing and implementing high-level architectural solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in guiding complex projects. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing mentorship, and ensuring the delivery of architecturally sound solutions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Lead architectural design and development initiatives that align with specifications, maintain high standards, and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements effectively.
- Conduct comprehensive unit and peer testing to assess product robustness.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of architectural work for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Adhere to established team, department, and company policies and procedures.
- Provide training, conduct project demonstrations, and deliver presentations as needed.
- Mentor colleagues voluntarily to foster professional growth within the team.
- Contribute to or author architectural design documents for complex software solutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
- Assume leadership roles in projects and architectural design initiatives.
- Offer valuable insights, proposals, and recommendations for refactoring, process improvements, technology enhancements, and tool selection.
Requirements & Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Two to three years of experience working as an architect for enterprise-grade software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Self-reliant and motivated self-starter with the ability to take ownership of architectural decisions.
- Proficiency in logical reasoning and innovative problem-solving.
- Robust proficiency in a versatile set of skills spanning programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, Database Management, familiarity with Frameworks like Spring, adeptness in Front-end technologies, knowledge of Code Generation practices, understanding of Authentication and Security Protocols, experience with Testing Frameworks like JUnit, familiarity with various Application Servers, expertise in Version Control Systems, implementation of Continuous Integration, and a commitment to ensuring both predictability and high-quality delivery in software development projects.
Desired Skills & Experience: - Proven track record of successfully completing projects as a Java Architect, solving complex problems with programming languages.
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Java Certified Architect) will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with TeamConnect or other Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) products is a plus.
