Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in automation testing
- Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, tools, and techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Knowledge of XPath and CSS selectors for web element identification
- Ability to analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and develop test cases
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-proven automation frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and develop effective test strategies
- Participate in test planning, test design, and test execution activities
- Create and maintain test artifacts such as test cases, test data, and test scripts
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects and their root causes
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in automation testing
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices in automation testing
