Job description
The Competitive Intelligence Manager is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and communicating market and competitor information to provide insights on trends and landscape to support sales, marketing, and product strategies at eClinical Solutions. This newly created position will help further develop the Product Marketing function at eClinical Solutions by performing research and analysis on the competitive landscape and market for eClinical s elluminate platform, individual product offerings, and Clinical Data Services offerings.
Responsibilities
- Develop a competitive intelligence library inclusive of battle cards for each competitor at the elluminate product level and for clinical data services competitors.
- Develop and maintain processes for external information gathering, timely analysis, and efficient communication / distribution.
- Distill market and competitive insights into clear and concise summaries and distribute on a bi-weekly basis
- Continuous aggregation of news and other related content to produce and maintain a current view of eClinical s competitive landscape.
- Lead competitive/market assessments and that support strategic planning efforts and go-to-market strategies.
- Work with industry research partners to enhance the depth of market and competitive knowledge
- Contribute to messaging documents and other enablement materials for internal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience organizing and analysing competitive / market information.
- Life sciences experience preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Intellectually curious self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player able to effectively work cross-functionally.
