Job description

The F& B Brand Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations & long-term development of multiple outlets following the vision of Brunch & Cake Global; ensuring all stores are compliant with company guidelines, quality standards, food safety and health & safety policies. Duties and Responsibilities ✓ Driving sales and profit performance by providing support and operational expertise. The Brand Manager should be anticipating requirements on labor, food, utilities, and supply costs with appropriate controls. Monitors P& L and takes corrective action as necessary to help ensure that budget goals are attained. ✓ Meets the Brand’s financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions. ✓ Controls cost and consistency with systems and trainings by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring high quality of preparation standards. ✓ Implements processes and procedures to continuously improve the performance of the Brunch & Cake brand in the localmarket, measured by internal & marketing audits, 3rd party HACCP audits & mystery diners. ✓ Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures & strict food health policies. Carrying out quarterly compliance self-audits at each outlet to ensure operational standards and procedures are followed. ✓ Constantly focused on delivering excellent guest experiences, ensuring outstanding food standards and exemplary service for B& C’s guests. Taking feedback to constantly improve; predominantly coming from guest feedback in person or on social media. ✓ Putting in place techniques to ensure speed and consistency with quality training. ✓ Integral in finding new sites, doing the needed market research & verifying financial feasibility of said sites. The Brand Manager must ensure timelines are met on development in market and new store opening’s targeted dates are reached. Negotiates rents to ensure each location is financially viable. ✓ Recruits, trains & develops his/her team to ensure that they are set up for success. Staff should be optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential contribution to the company. Brand Manager Job Description Employee Name Start Date Position Brand Manager Reports To CEO/Director ✓ Ensures a full orientation for all newly joined staff and follows brand-approved training programs to ensure the team is fully validated with sign-offs. ✓ Mentoring and coaching Restaurant Managers & Head Chefs to help themachieve operational goals & company standards. ✓ Monitors the condition of each outlet; décor, furniture, equipment, and general maintenance. Reacts appropriately when necessary corrections are needed. ✓ Assists the Company Director/CEO in following up and supervising any new brand developments or expectations (documentation/action plan/processes) and in identifying areas for improvement. ✓ Planning, implementing and measuring marketing & social media initiatives. ✓ Establishes and maintains professional business relations with vendors. ✓ Promoting company culture, values, and mission with integrity. Requirements ✓ Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or equivalent experience. ✓ Minimum 8 years of experience in F& B Operations with 3-4 years in a multi-unit managerial position. ✓ Strong understanding of P& L and food cost management. ✓ Strong understanding of HACCP standards and expectations. ✓ Effective working within a fast-paced environment.
