Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager/ Domain Trainee - Underwriting
In this role, you will require to utilize your experience in and knowledge of insurance / reinsurance and underwriting process to manage and process transactions, interact with clients, manage processes and data, and improve processes.
Responsibilities
. Transaction processing for Underwriting Support Teams.
. Client interactions via trainings, conference calls, emails and messenger service.
. Communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information
. Apply the appropriate policy provisions when reviewing claims and rendering a decision, Proactively follow-up on workflow requirements, escalating to leadership when needed
. Consistently provide exceptional service to internal and external customers by demonstrating the highest level of professionalism in all interactions
. Manage MIS activities and data collation.
. Work towards driving process improvements and initiatives.
. Help in building the team
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
. Any Graduate except technical
. Relevant years work experience.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
. Knowledge of Insurance/Re-insurance domain along with P&C knowledge.
. Costing knowledge is necessary to have and will add as an added advantage.
. Logical reasoning skills.
. Able to respond constructively and decisively in high pressure or emotional situations
. Ability to comprehend and articulate
. Able to manage high volumes of cases within aggressive deadlines
. Able to complete work independently and collaborate in a team environment
. Sound organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
. Good knowledge of MS Office, MS - Excel/Powerpoint must
. Fluent in English language - both written and oral.
