Job Description: Regional Lead – Business Development

Location: Any one - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai

Role Overview:

As the Regional Lead for Business Development at Repos Energy, you will be a seasoned professional responsible for driving business growth and market expansion within your assigned region. With an extensive experience range of 15-25 years, you will provide strategic leadership in P&L management, strategic sales planning, price and commercial management, distribution development, and commercial & strategic management.

Additionally, you will oversee key commercial launches, annual business planning, and business development initiatives to support the overall business objectives of Repos Energy in the region.

 

Responsibilities:

P&L Management:

Oversee the regional P&L to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness in all business activities.

Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, and expenses to optimize financial outcomes and drive business growth.

Strategic Sales:

Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the region.

Identify and capitalize on opportunities for market expansion and growth through strategic initiatives.

Distribution Development:

Drive the development and expansion of distribution networks within the region to increase market coverage and reach.

Identify and onboard new distribution partners and channels to support sales and business growth objectives.

Commercial & Strategic Management:

Provide leadership in commercial and strategic initiatives within the region, including market analysis, opportunity assessment, and business planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial strategies with overall business goals and objectives.

Key Commercial Launch:

Lead and oversee key commercial launches and initiatives within the region, ensuring successful execution and market penetration.

Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies to drive awareness and adoption of new products and services.

Annual Business Plan:

Develop and execute annual business plans for the region, including sales targets, marketing strategies, and operational plans.

Monitor progress against business plan objectives and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

Minimum 15-25 years of proven sales experience, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Experience in business development, channel sales, and market expansion in the energy or related industries.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.

Results-driven and customer-focused, with a passion for exceeding expectations.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
