Job description
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become a trusted customer advocate within Alvaria.
- Knowledge and facilitation of customer s business objectives, operational metrics, performance trends and improvement goals.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements for implementation into business software management and CPQ tools
- Ability to configure and manage projects using internal software applications that include Salesforce, NetSuite, Apttus (CPQ), Salesforce CPQ tools
- Manage escalations; be the POC for communication; ensure the appropriate level of Alvaria resources engage; manage follow up as warranted.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating account management improvements as warranted.
- Act as a single point of communication and coordination for tactical issue planning, escalations/resolution when necessary.
- Partner with the Sales team on quoting and pricing of product solutions
- Maintain oversight of active implementations; advocate when needed.
- Maintain account accuracy for all documentation on team SharePoint site.
- Engage internal and external resources as necessary to solve problems.
- Assist with system admin responsibilities for NetSuite, Salesforce and Apttus tools
- Technical design and implementation of Quote to Cash solutions using Salesforce CPQ
- Provide day to day CPQ platform and user support
- Document as-is and to-be architecture solutions. Present complex solutions, options, and benefits to key technical program stakeholders.
- Responsible for defining, estimating, and shaping CPQ technical solutions using best practices.
- Maintain and configure our development and test instances for our internal sandboxes.
- Communicate and work effectively with cross functional teams including business teams, product teams, IT Apps teams, consultants vendors.
- Responsible for issue resolution in UAT and post production support of CPQ functionality

- Actively contribute to building and troubleshooting process automation across our Salesforce instance
- Customize as necessary in implementing scalable solutions, while advocating for best practices
Skills
- Bachelors degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or in a related field
- 3+ years Salesforce CPQ experience with multiple currencies and complex products
- Must have good knowledge of Salesforce CPQ objects used in Quote to Contract process
- Strong experience with SFDC Advanced approvals
- Extensive knowledge of product configuration, complex pricing rules sequence, quote configurator plugins Salesforce CPQ APIs
- Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like perpetual and subscription-based licensing, various discounting models, amendments, extensions, co-terming and renewals
- Experience with quote document generation
- Experience working with Salesforce communities, Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, Lightning, JavaScript, Eclipse IDE, WorkBench, Data Loader, Ant tool, Reports and Dashboards
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Objects and Data Model
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and strong sense of ownership
