Job description
Insight Global is seeking strong Data Architect to join a growing team with a large client within the logistics business. This member will be a part of driving critical projects aimed at enhancing the clients supply chain capabilities. This individual will be assisting with platform development and application consolidations. This Data Architect will be responsible for designing, optimizing an enterprise data warehouse, reporting, business intelligence and analytics platform from various data sources that will be used by customers. They will also be responsible for setting strategy and vision for organizations data framework and provide technical architecture guidance. Other daily tasks and responsibilities include the following: Design the vision and blueprint of organizations data Work to consolidate data from disparate data sources Work to constantly improve data quality, consistency, and security Design and develop complex tables, views, and stored procedures to support the clients developed applications, data warehousing, reporting and business intelligence initiatives Support the development of new products and services via ingestion, processing, and formatting data for reporting and analytics. Build data models for database structures, analytics and AI applications. Guide and mentor data engineers.
Must-Haves: Bachelor's Degree in a related field 10+ years of related experience (Last 5 years as a data architect) Experience with data modeling, ETL development, data warehousing, and data lake creation Oracle Cloud Azure Experience with visualization and reporting tools ( ex. Spotfire, oracle analytics, powerBI, EformsZ)] Ability to write complex SQL queries Pluses: Experience with DevOps tools ( ex. GitLab or CI/CD tools) WMS (warehouse management system) Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
