Web portal test lead: - 7+ years
Responsibilities Create comprehensive test plans and corresponding test cases for basic components and features, including tests across supported browsers and platforms (desktop and mobile) Find bugs, especially during the release process, and apply engineering rigor to reproduce and diagnose those bugs, write concise and descriptive bug reports and present test results to other project stakeholders clearly and effectively Creating/maintaining a test suite by reviewing existing and newly-submitted tests for correctness and usability, creating new tests where missing, updating, improving, and correcting tests where necessary, encouraging community involvement and collaboration in the creation and use of the test suite Leading a team of Testers and guide them for the day-to-day activities. Utilizing your own experience and judgement to ensure testing strategy meets business needs, Test all aspects of the web portal. Communicate effectively with Development & Test Members and Managers Review requirements and clarify requirements Identify Test Scope using risk-based testing Create and execute test plans/scripts/scenarios Develop and maintain complete test cases and develop sanity and regression cases. Log and track defects through to resolution Provide estimates for test effort Qualifications Collaborate to work toward common goal with different teams Must be proactive, flexible, and able to adapt QA process to the critical needs of the development team Ability to work independently as part of a distributed team Where appropriate provide project requirements around accessibility and inclusive design Participate in walkthroughs of test cases and test scripts with development and quality assurance teams Develop and / or execute test scripts from a Business Acceptance perspective, document results accurately, determine severity levels of, log and retest variances encountered during the testing processJob tags
