Job Title: Data Catalog Analyst ( Data Analyst)
Location: Pune/Mumbai/Chennai Experience: 6 to 10 years Notice Period: Immediate or less than 30 days Type of Employment: Full Time JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Response: 1. Backlog Management: Responsible for timely delivery of backlog items, aligning with project, capability, and business priorities. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize backlog and roadmap. 2. Metadata Framework Implementation: Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to define and implement standardized metadata framework attributes in the catalog, covering business, technical, tagging, and ownership aspects. 3. Requirements Solicitation : Partner with stakeholder organizations to gather and implement catalog requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs. 4. Stakeholder Training: Conduct training sessions for stakeholders, enhancing their understanding of the enterprise catalog and its value proposition within their specific contexts. 5. Catalog Design Controls : Design and implement catalog controls to prevent duplication, ensure easy discoverability, and maintain compliance with enterprise policies. Technical Competencies: 1. Adherence to Principles: Ensure adherence to principles, policies, and standards for maintaining solution and service quality and compliance. 2. Consultation and Collaboration : Provide expert advice to customers on leveraging IT solutions, processes, and services to execute strategic plans. Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues in IT and other functions. 3. Innovation and Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities for innovative use of IT solutions and services to address specific business challenges. 4. External Engagement : Manage engagements with external consultants or contractors, including selection and oversight of key projects and services. 5. Business Objectives Alignment: Ensure clear understanding of business objectives and requirements, monitoring outcomes and taking remedial action when necessary. 6. Conflict Resolution: Provide information and advice to resolve complex queries and issues, enabling appropriate actions. Resolve contentious issues and queries efficiently. 7. Solution Design and Deployment : Support or manage the design, build, and deployment of IT solutions, processes, and services, working closely with relevant functional teams. 8. Documentation and Training : Create and maintain system/services documentation, training programs/materials, and operating manuals within the assigned scope. 9. Promotion of IT Service Delivery Model: Understand and promote the IT service delivery model, IT processes, and the IT portfolio of solutions.Job tags
