Job description
JD for Azure Cloud Ops Engineer – C4 • More than 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and Cloud Operations.
• At least 5+ years in Azure Cloud Operations. • Hands on experience in managing various Azure services such as VM, VNET, NSG, Storage, VPN, Load Balancers, auto scaling, availability set, AKS/ACS, Backup & Recovery, etc. • Good knowledge and basic experience on Azure PaaS such as Azure SQL, Web Apps, WAF, etc. • Manage/Setup VNet, Subnets, CDN, Endpoints, etc. • Manage/Setup native Azure OMS Monitoring, Application Insight. • Manage/Setup DNS records on Azure DNS. • Hands on experience in PowerShell scripting. • Hands on experience in Azure automation/runbooks, ARM, terraform. • Identify and automate repetitive task. • Drive Azure best practices implementation, review gaps in the environment and drive performance fine tuning initiatives. • Experience in basic Administration of DevOps – Azure DevOps. • Strong Hands on experience in managing any one of technology Windows, Linux, Virtualization, SQL, Oracle, Network, Firewall, etc. • Review and drive change management along with Team. • Own and execute high impact changes as well as Critical incidents. • Guide team in Managing day-to-day incidents, changes and Service request of Azure IaaS and PaaS services. • Review and update of Project specific documentations. • Good knowledge on configuration of other Monitoring tools – Datadog, Dynatrace, etc. • Good understanding of ITSM process. • Coordinate with 3rd party partners/vendors for resolving the issues. • Generate daily, weekly and monthly report related to Operations. • Drive cost and security governance initiatives across projects. • Good communication and presentation skills.
