Engineering & Business Service Center > Engineering > Manufacturing PDM
Responsibilities - Handle requests through Change Management and PTC Windchill.
- Perform the review, checks and govern ECM & PDM processes.• Focus on improving efficiency and lead time of changes.
- Work as an Interface between Technical Leads and Internal Customers to implement Solutions using Windchill and SAP.
- Monitor and Provide Periodic reporting on the deliverables by the team to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the delivery of outputs according to KPIs & SLA
- Continuous improvement of processes, methods, and deliveries with simplicity.
- Creation and handling of Problem Reports, Change Requests and Change Notices for all Design and Production changes through PDMLink Windchill.
- Creation and handling of P BOM based on the requests from factories / changes to the G BOM.
- Create and Maintain Production Bill of material and ensure the design release/changes are implemented across Production/Supplier Plants.
- Handle phase in/phase out of the Materials and BoM based on the available stock, Open PO and future orders in production plants.
- Understand and analyze the Design changes and Verify the accuracy/completeness of BoM before the production implementation.
- Ensuring consistent Master data and BOM across the systems adhere to global governance.
- Responsible for Global Material Master attributes enrichment in Windchill PDMLink and SAP
- Conduct/ Participate ECM meetings along with Cross functional teams
Qualifications - Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical/ equivalent)
- 8-12 years of working experience in Manufacturing/ Production/ Production engineering/ Quality functions in OEM from Heavy industry/ automotive/ energy sectors
- Prior experience in ECM & PDM preferred
Competencies - ECO Creation & Task handling in Vestas ECM system
- BU case handling of Production ECOs• CN process & Task handling in PDMLink Windchill
- Strong Knowledge in Material UNSPSC or other Material Master Classification of Global standards.
- Material creation & Validation in SAP
- Material Extension & enrichment in Plants
- BoM creation & Maintenance in SAP
- Knowledge on NPI process in developing and launching a product.
- Strong background in MDM/PDM and Master data governance.
- Expert knowledge in end-to-end value chain of ECM and Production BOM handling.
- Good Hands Experience in Material Master creation and NPR Validation.
- Fluent in English (Oral & Written).
- Efficient handling of global stake holders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power point for reporting day to day developments/ reporting. Exposure to Excel macros and Power BI is added advantage.
