Overview:
The HR Recruiter plays a crucial role in the organizations talent acquisition process by sourcing interviewing and selecting candidates. This position is essential in ensuring the company attracts hires and retains the best talent to meet its staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
- Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on the hiring processes.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
- Assess and report on the effectiveness of different recruitment channels.
- Communicate with managers to identify future job openings and the requirements for those positions.
- Promote companys reputation as the best place to work.
- Coordinate and execute new employee orientation.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Maintain records of interviews and hires.
- Stay informed about trends and innovative recruiting techniques in the industry.
- Handle the administration of the human resources department to ensure compliance.
- Assist with the development and improvement of human resource tools and processes.
- Contribute to the accomplishment of human resource practices and objectives that provide an employeeoriented highperformance culture.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter.
- Handson experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone structured group).
- Familiarity with HR databases applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully meeting recruitment targets and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Exceptional communication interpersonal and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word Excel and PowerPoint).
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive and innovative approach to problemsolving.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in recruiting.
- Ability to manage multiple open roles at one time.
- Certification in HR will be an advantage.
