ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operations Leadership
  1. Define effective Shared service & process control measures
  2. Ensure all operational deliveries are managed as expected
  3. Ensure that accounting & payments to suppliers in time, reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts, reconciliation of inventory, and establishing effective control over collection from customers
  4. Ensure that all AR processes, including billing, revenue accounting etc are managed effectively
  5. Ensure that Internal & External audit requirements are met and proper validation of accounts & prepare monthly variance report.
  6. Ensure quality reviews of GSC deliverables are conducted
  7. Create active engagement with Users across the organisation to establish a culture of identifying root causes for performance gaps, identifying suitable solutions, and deploying the same
  8. Establish relevant KPIs to generate ownership within the team
• Transformation Leadership
  1. Identify opportunities of transformation in the process to enhance effectiveness
  2. Conduct process assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes. Drive best practices
  3. Creating, implementing and monitoring processes and procedures finance processes
  4. Collaborate with department heads and process owners to establish process improvement goals and targets and develop action plans to achieve them
  5. Drive digitization of processes
  6. Participate in new scope solutioning & transitions
  7. Support Business units to develop appropriate metrics to demonstrate Process efficiency and effectiveness
  8. Analyze process performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  9. Manage interface between business and IT development teams and support in developing the right solutions when improving processes
• Stakeholder Management
  1. Interact with stakeholders & drive effective governance
  2. Develop and deploy relevant Performance Review cycle at different levels of the organization
  3. Manage escalations proactively
  4. Help to drive data driven decision making by providing insights to Business Performance through Dashboard
• Team Management
  1. Lead & monitor team
  2. Help to create a culture of Best Practice Adoption

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with 8 to 10 years experience
• Experience in transition, setup & running off-shored Finance operations
• Possess strong analytical skills & transformation experience
• Work flexible over-hours in close coordination with line manager covering situations where business is requiring urgent execution.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment Detail oriented Professional and articulate communicator, Team player, Flexibility in work schedule, Aptitude for prioritization/multi-tasking
