Responsibilities

Senior People Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders on People related matters and develops partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added services to the Finastra Corporate functions. This role will be for 12 months (Fixed Term).

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

As a People Business Partner for Corporate Functions, you will be expected to:

  • Provide guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including restructuring and workforce planning, succession planning and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead on HR activities as per HR calendar: RRR, Talent, Quarterly headcount and data submissions
  • Review and analyze business and people metrics, (such as data on retention and employee experience) to understand underlying trends or issues.
  • Coach senior executives to support the achievement of key business objectives, utilizing varied people levers / influencing styles as needed (such as Provide performance management, career counselling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).
  • Collaborate and partner with Country HR partners and People team Centres of Expertise (CoE) (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Organization Effectiveness, Culture and Talent etc.) on projects, programs. Providing critical business insight to influence the design and deployment of CoE activity.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of broad legal requirements related to employee relations to mitigate legal and reputational risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.  Partner with both internal and external legal counsel for advice.

Primary Competencies:

This is a senior role and will require candidates to be able to demonstrate the ability to influence senior executives and build strong stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment, have high learning agility and have attention to detail.

They should be able to work independently and prioritize work load.

The successful candidate is likely to be outcome focused on big ticket HR initiatives.

They will have a drive to support the HR function in automating transactional work and supporting a Manager Self Service culture.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant experience of partnering with Senior Executives to drive a People Strategy with demonstrable business impact.
  • Experience as 7+ Yrs as HR Generalist / HRBP experience including partnering with senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Customer focused
  • Team player and strong collaboration
  • Ability to analyze data and draw insights and drive effective leadership discussions
  • Experience working in a global organization preferred
  • Should be able to work independtly and Priortize workload.
