Position Overview:-
As a Junior Travel Executive within our IATA (International Air Transport Association) agency, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional travel services to corporate clients. You will be responsible for handling various aspects of travel management, including domestic and international ticketing, visa processing, hotel bookings, and travel packages. Your goal will be to ensure seamless travel experiences for our clients while adhering to industry regulations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
# Ticketing and Reservations:
- Assist corporate clients in booking domestic and international flight tickets, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to client preferences.
- Handle flight changes, cancellations, and rebookings as required, while considering client preferences and ticketing regulations.
- Provide clients with up-to-date information on flight schedules, fares, and travel restrictions.
- Collaborate with airlines, consolidators, and other travel partners to secure the best available fares and routes for clients.
# Visa Processing:
- Guide corporate & retail clients through the visa application process, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of documentation.
- Liaise with embassies, consulates, and visa service providers to facilitate smooth visa processing.
- Keep clients informed about visa requirements, processing times, and any changes in visa regulations.
# Hotel Bookings:
- Assist clients in finding suitable accommodations for their travel needs, considering preferences, budgets, and location requirements.
- Coordinate with hotels and other accommodation providers to secure bookings, negotiate rates, and handle reservation modifications.
# Travel Packages and Ancillary Services:
- Design and offer customized travel packages, including flights, accommodations, transfers, and additional services based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with tour operators, ground transportation providers, and other suppliers to create attractive travel packages.
- Provide comprehensive information about package inclusions, pricing, and terms and conditions to clients
# Customer Service and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, offering exceptional customer service throughout the travel process.
- Handle client inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their travel preferences and anticipating their needs.
# Invoicing & Billing
- Coordinating with Finance team on Invoicing and assisting them with Purchase documents
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Travel Executive or similar role within an IATA agency.
- In-depth knowledge of ticketing procedures, airline fare structures, and global travel regulations.
- Familiarity with visa application processes and requirements for various destinations.
- Strong understanding of hotel booking systems and accommodation options.
- Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Travelport
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with corporate travel policies and guidelines is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in travel and tourism would be a plus.
