The role of the Test Automation Engineer involves constructing, overseeing, and enhancing the automated testing infrastructure to create generic services and authoring test scripts for the automatic testing of our SGRE software products. This includes both the development of automated tests and active involvement in manual testing processes. Collaborating closely with development teams is essential to ensure effective testing and adequate coverage.

Proficient in both Python and Gherkin (Cucumber's natural language syntax).
In-depth knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles.

Experience of 5 - 10 Years
Experience in creating and maintaining feature files using Gherkin syntax.
Strong background in writing step definitions and implementing automation scripts for Cucumber.
Familiarity with testing embedded applications, APIs, and mobile applications using Cucumber.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Ability to translate business requirements into executable test scenarios.
Extensive experience in test automation using Pytest framework.
Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Ability to design and implement effective test cases.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative testing efforts.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
