What does the team do : There are multiple product teams, supporting SRE teams, an infrastructure team, and other non-technical teams that work together to enable our business in the Ad-tech space. The business partners with multiple Fortune 100 companies and provides APIs and other services to enable online advertising while using ad-related data from them. As one might expect, security plays an important role in business success. The major objectives of the security team are to: 1. Manage the overall risk to internal servers, public cloud infra, and co-located data centers. 2. Develop Security Policies and actionable Processes that technical teams can adopt. 3. Provide security services and support to all teams at Media.net. The company uses a Risk Assessment based approach to overall security and security engineers utilize commercial as well as open-source tools to implement the security policies that are put in place to mitigate risks to the business. Some of the core services that the security team provides to technical teams include implementation of DevSecOps, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VA/PT) and Secrets Management. Role & Responsibilities: Your role, as the Information Security Analyst (Infra + AppSec) will require you to: ● Perform VA/PT of Media.net assets, compile and communicate results ● Monitor CVE announcements that are relevant to Media.net assets ● Help teams with Patch management arising due to CVEs ● Maintain security issues in a bug tracker or git system and follow-up with teams for remediation. ● Help the Senior Security Analyst with Incident Response Management ● Use security tools required by the security policies and procedures of the company Who should apply for this role? You should apply if you are comfortable with most of the items listed below: ● B.Tech/M.Tech or Equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field ● Ability to quickly learn new tools and technology ● Interest in learning various aspects of application and network security ● 2- 4 years of prior professional experience ● Preference for those who have completed some security certifications Benefits and Culture : At Media.Net people love their jobs, and not just because we offer the most competitive salaries in the industry.
