About Branch Banking:
With branches spread across the country, the branches act as the face of Axis Bank for millions of retail customers and is, hence, an integral part of the Bank's strategy. Branches play a major role in deposit mobilization from New-To-Bank (NTB) customers, and are also core drivers of the Bank's customer engagement strategy across products and services.
About the Role:
Heading Retail Liabilities Products & Premium Banking for the bank across Savings, Term Deposits, New Product Development, Customer Lifecycle Management and P&L ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- The incumbent will be expected to manage & drive Savings, Term Deposits, New Product Development, customer lifecycle and P&L ownership
- Effectively launch new product and manage product penetration
- Monitor internal and regulatory communication pertaining to product/program
- Tracking the customizations and profitability / viability of the same
- To system test the functionality of processes prior to launch.
- Create Direct to customer campaigns/alliances to funnel digital leads
- Lead projects/activities for ensuring program / product awareness and mind share amongst internal resources
- Coordinate and build strong work relationships with various internal groups: IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Compliance etc.
- Define & optimize the process flow of products and associated processes
- Business development through stakeholders
- Designing of business & process model for integration with digital platform
- Audit and adherence to compliance for products mapped
- Process improvements identification and implementation
- Communication and coordination with regulators
- Campaigns planning and execution for business generation
Qualifications:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
- Post-graduate / MBA (Marketing) preferred from a recognized institute
- NCFM and AMFI Certifications
- 15+ years of experience in the BFSI sector

- Good networking and relationship building skills
- Experience in handling and managing product will add to the segment
- The candidate should have experience across Liability products in banking preferably in the channel management space.
- S/he should have good knowledge of banking systems and functionality of term deposit product. ·
- S/he should have the ability to work with cross functional teams. · Advanced spreadsheet and numerical analysis skills. ·
- Project management and Time Management skills. ·
- Must be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with vague concepts.
- Ability to analyze processes and reengineer them.
- Strong communication skills and good analytical skills are a prerequisite.
- Must be a keen observer of the human behavior which will help in the generation of consumer insights.
