Sales Executive / Sales Manager

Job Description:
This position requires a unique blend of skills encompassing sales, marketing, and customer service. As a Sales Executive, you are accountable for developing and promoting business through proactive direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls, and hotel visits.
Manages and directs market sales techniques to retain opportunity management, account managing sales, local and social catering, business travel, and stay extension sales.
Responsibilities
- Find and select other hotel associates for the best probable and competitive rates.
- Planning and implementing marketing plans in conjunction with the Director of Leisure
- Identifying and targeting specific market segments for likely corporate clients and selling memberships to them
- Generating weekly membership data for analysis and monthly reports on membership status, renewals, attrition, and new and potential signatures on all accounts
- Responsible for marketing, advertising, and departmental spending, ensuring these are within budget and aligned with the agreed brand strategy.
- Prepare reports and recommendations on sales strategy for senior management.
- Identifying potential customers, making sales calls, and negotiating contracts.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract corporate clients, group bookings, and individual guests.
- Creating packages, special promotions, and discounts to entice potential customers.
- Understand the needs and preferences of their clients to provide personalized service.
- Handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure that guests have a positive experience during their stay
- Must stay current with market trends and the competitive landscape.
- Responsible for creating and distributing sales collateral, including brochures, promotional materials, and online content.
- Use various marketing channels, such as social media and email marketing, to reach potential clients.
- This role also includes managing the hotel's online presence and reputation on review websites and social media platforms.
- Prepare proposals and presentations to showcase the hotel's amenities and services.
- Create and analyze reports to track sales performance, revenue, and other vital metrics.
- Must ensure all sales activities comply with local laws and regulations.
- They may need to handle the legal aspects of contracts and agreements, especially in international sales.
- Staying informed about changes in laws related to the hospitality industry is essential.
