Job description

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for Sourcing of materials and services for Bira91 in Indirect procurement

within the cost and payment term targets and at the same time ensuring good quality and service. This role will

primarily be responsible for budget management, contracting, implementation & supplier relationship

management.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Vendor

- Develop and execute a comprehensive indirect procurement strategy.

- Provide Inputs goods & services required for HR& Admin, IT&IS, Legal, Finance and Central Marketing

- Continuously track the budget forecast vs actual spend and take corrective actions

- Generate reports and category spend analysis

- Ability to plan the SRM (supply relationship management) strategy and champion the strategy across

all vendors

- Develop strong relationships and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to prioritize & execution

of sourcing projects.

- Develop and sustain supplier relationships and related negotiations

Process Optimization:

- Review all existing contracts; develop standard templates with best practices incorporated

- Negotiate annual contracts including but not limited to travel, employee transport, facility

management, security services, stationery, courier services, housekeeping, AMC, cab rentals IT

services etc.

- Monitoring and assess supplier's performance, evaluating the quality of service provided

- Collaborate with accounts to facilitate process of supplier's invoices as well as payments

- Continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices incorporating relevant best

practices

- Optimization of Work In Capital (WIC).

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL SET

- Any Undergraduate & MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree

- 4-7 Yrs of experience in managing Indirect Sourcing for a large organization

- SAP experience is desirable.

- Strong competency in MS Excel skills

- Sound knowledge in Sourcing & Procurement processes

- Good negotiation skills

- Stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively and delivery results.

- Ability to challenge assumption and influence business partners. - Ability to manage self and others to deal with anxiety and unknown.
