Job description
Prime Purpose:
CAD level in depth knowledge in UG & Catia. Hands on experience on complicated casting clutch housing modeling & drawing preparation. In depth knowledge of Part, Drawing & assemblies in CAD. Proficient in G&D tolerancing. Should able to check the design and Clutch System SOR, Design Technical Proposal, Drawings for new development or any modification. Considering the voice of customer / customer requirement/Business strategy, regulations, cost quality (durability/reliability), time, and emerging trends in technology.
Overall Objective:
The voice of customer has to be converted into the design input & for this field warranty data to be analysed. Taking into considerations the technical requirements as well as making modification based on the feasibility. Aligning with the business needs of the company.
Business objective: To verify Clutch System design for a new product in line with the overall product map of the organization thus to meet the company business strategy and improve the market share

Automotive Clutch Manufacturer - Luk / Schaffler India, Valeo India, ZF clutches, Raicam India, Setco clutches
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or equivalent Or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. (Production / Mechanical / Auto)
1. Strong domain knowledge on Clutch system (disc assembly, cover assembly, release bearing and actuation) design & development.
2. Knowledge on component level and vehicle level validation of the Clutch systems
3. Should have knowledge, experience on vendor quality issues, end of line quality issues, customer warranty issues
4. Fair knowledge on NVH and experience in carry out clutch tuning on vehicles.
5. Knowledge on GD&T, DOE, FMEA is must
6. Basic Knowledge on quality tools and standards - Global 8D reports
7. In depth knowledge on Unigraphics, Catia & Team Centre is must
