ExuberantHR Consulting is urgently hiring a Design Engineer for Static Equipment for a BSE and NSE-listed reputed Steel Manufacturing and engineering company at its corporate office in Lower Parel, Mumbai .
Position: Design Engineer Static Equipment
Company: Listed Steel Manufacturing Engineering Industry
Location: Head Office, Lower Parel Mumbai
Experience: 2 - 6 Years of relevant experience in the Design and Detailed engineering of Pressure vessels and processes, Columns for the refineries petrochemical industry.
Qualification: B.E. B. Tech or M.E.M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Compensation: 8-10 Lakhs Based upon experience and current salary
Job Responsibilities - Design of various static Processes equipment like pressure vessels, columns, and Heat exchangers. as per various codes like ASME and TEMA.
- Design activities like Design Calculations, Stress Analysis, and review of Drawings.
- Checking of Bill of Materials BOM, documentation amp; maintaining records as per ASME, Pressure Equipment Directive.
- Review Inquiry Specification sheets and inquiry drawings provided by clients' consultants to provide appropriate outputs for the same.
- Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with engineering consultants, external suppliers as well and clients.
- Preparation and leading all design-related activities for ASME U stamp audits and ISO audits.
- Close coordination with Projects, Procurement, Shop Planning, Production, and Quality functions in order to meet all technical requirements as per Contract.
Candidate Requirements - Should be excellent in the design of static process equipment.
- Should be conversant with design standards like ASME Section VIII Div. 1 and 2, TEMA ASME Section II.
- Should be conversant with design software like PV Elite, and Autocad.
- Should be conversant with material specifications generally used for Pressure vessels and Process Columns.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate or currently staying in Mumbai are preferred.
