NIRMAL MISSION FOR VISION SOCIETY is a charitable super specialty eye care hospital located in Rishikesh, built on 9.69 acres of picturesque land with ornamental trees and landscaped gardens. The hospital has 130 beds and is about 22 Kms from Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, and 18 Kms from Haridwar Railway Station.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Rishikesh, as a Consultant Ophthalmic, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of diseases and disorders of the eye. You will be working collaboratively with other Teams members, nurses, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

MBBS, MS in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution

• Valid license to practice medicine from the Medical Council of India or the equivalent regulatory body
• Having Good exposure in Phaco. and SICS
• Having 2-3 years post fellowship experience
• Mastery of the skills needed to effectively diagnose and manage diseases and disorders of the eye
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and support staff
• Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based patient care and to being continually updated on the latest advances in ophthalmology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families in a clear and empathetic manner.
