Purchase right quality at the right cost. Ensure timely delivery.
Major Accountabilities :
Identify alternative / new products in the market undertake cost benefit analysis and present to the management.
Handle end to end procurement of the assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
Control Inventory by optimizing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
Transfer excess dead stock to other sites.
Create Relationships with vendor by finding out their performance from market and undertake joint
Improvement projects with them.
Effective coordination with all sites. Regular site visits.
Creating strong networking within and outside the organization.
Continuous monitoring review & taking timely corrective action to achieve the targets
Potential Challenges :
Expert in construction material Handle end to end procurement of the assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
Enhance value of the product / services and make annual rate contracts obtain alternate products / vendors or substituting the OEMs.
He should have Good negotiation skills / presentation skill for effective coordination with all sites.
Control Inventory by optimizing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
