Role And Responsibilities The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The main responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing source target mappings
- Performing troubleshooting on all ETL processes and resolving issues effectively
- Maintaining and developing database scripts and tools for automation
- Providing support for data analysis, ETL development, data validation, and test case development
- Understanding and interpreting logical, physical data models, conceptual models, and ER diagrams
- Establishing and enforcing ETL design principles, techniques, standards, and best practices
- Debugging and problem-solving in ETL processes
- Designing and developing SSRS reports
Candidate Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SQL development and SSIS
- Experience in database development, including SQL/data modeling, stored procedures, and index/performance tuning
- Advanced proficiency in the full cycle of data warehouse and business intelligence implementation
- Expert knowledge in data profiling and ETL development using SSIS
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, ETL design, and data validation
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
