Overview
The Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial management and reporting within the organization. They are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Data entry work
- Bank reconciliation
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations
- Utilize accounting software to process transactions and generate financial reports
- Provide support during tax preparation
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors
- Practical working experience in Tally
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA Inter preferred
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Preference Will Be Given To Candidates With - Knowledge of GST / TDS will be an added advantage
- Prior construction / real estate company working experience
